What is Notarial Certificate issued by Notary Public ?

The purpose of notarial certification is to authenticate documents to enable the documents to be accepted overseas by courts, public authorities or attorneys/ solicitors of the receiving jurisdictions/ countries.

Our notary public can prepare notarial certificates of different forms according to the requirements of the receiving authority abroad. The notarial certificates usually include:

• Certification of the genuineness of the signature(s) on document
• Certification of the identity and capacity of the person signing the document
• Certification of the authority to represent the company or entity for which the representative is signing for
• Certification that the document is correctly executed in accordance with the law of Hong Kong
• Certification of true copies of original documents and the truth and accuracy of translations.
• All notarised documents bear the notary public’s signature and official seal.
