Case Study
When you set up a company in Singapore, there is a form called ‘Consent To Act As Director And Statement Of Non Disqualification To Act As Director’ (Form 45) which has to be signed by the proposed director in the presence of Hong Kong notary public if the proposed director is located in Hong Kong.
The proposed director has to make sure all the information in the Consent Form is true and accurate before signing, and the form also requires the director to confirm the effective date for taking up the directorship.
Please email or call us for an appointment for the notarization of the Consent Form.
Things to bring to the appointment :
1) The ‘Consent To Act As Director And Statement Of Non Disqualification To Act As Director’ to be notarized
2) HKID and/or Passport of the proposed director
3) Singaporean ID (NRIC) of the proposed director (if any)
4) Address proof of the proposed director within recent 3 months (e.g. utility bill, bank statement)
