Case study
If you would like to close down your company in the UK by way of Members’ Voluntary Winding Up, you will have to make and sign a Declaration of Solvency Embodying a Statement of Assets and Liabilities under the Insolvency Act 1986 in the presence of a Notary Public.
Our Notary Public can take and receive your Declaration of Solvency and act as a witness to your signature on the Declaration after verifying your identity.
You will have to bring the following to the Notary Public Service Appointment:
1) The completed Declaration of Solvency (which has to be signed by you in person before Notary Public)
2) Up-to-date search records showing you are the Director of the company
3) Original of your valid passport / HKID
4) Copy of your address proof (e.g. utility bill of recent 3 months)
